Definitions
Web Site: domain https://madrid.ufm.edu/ made available to internet users.
“User”: natural or legal person who uses or browses the site.
“Content”: the Web Sites that make up the entire domain https://madrid.ufm.edu/ which is composed by the information and services that UFM makes available to internet users. The contents, messages, texts, photographs, graphics, icons, logos, technology, links, textures, drawings, sound and/or image files, recordings, software, appearance, graphic design, and source codes, and, in general, any kind of material contained on the site.

“Cookies”: a technical means of “tracking” and monitoring navigation on websites. These are small text files that are written on the user's computer. This method has privacy implications, and UFM will therefore give appropriate and reliable notice of their use when they are implemented on the site.
Conditions of Use
The simple use of the content for which UFM is responsible or participation in social networks in which it is present (hereinafter "the services") grants the condition of user and obligatorily implies the complete, full, and unreserved acceptance of each and every one of the clauses and general conditions included in the Legal Notice. If the user does not agree with the clauses and conditions of use of this Legal Notice, he/she shall refrain from using the pages, blogs or participating in the social networks.
This Legal Notice is subject to change and updates so that the version published by UFM may be different on each occasion that the user accesses the website. Therefore, the user must read the Legal Notice every time he/she makes use of the services offered.
Through the site, UFM provides users with access to and use of various content published on the internet by UFM or by authorized third parties.
The user is compiled to use the services and content in accordance with the legislation in force, the Legal Notice, and any other notice or instructions made known to him/her, whether by means of this Legal Notice or elsewhere within the content that makes up the services, and in accordance with the generally accepted rules of coexistence, morality, and good customs.

The user shall refrain from obtaining or even attempting to obtain the content by using means or procedures other than those which, as the case may be, have been made available for this purpose or have been indicated for this purpose on the website where the contents are located or, in general, those normally used on the internet for this purpose, provided that they do not entail risk of damage or disablement of the site and/or the contents.
UFM is not liable for the transmission, dissemination or making available to third parties of any material contained on the site, such as information, texts, data, content, messages, graphics, drawings, sound and/or image files, photographs, recordings, software, logos, trademarks, icons, links, graphic designs, source codes or any other material to which it has access as a user of the site. Use of the content shall be done without detriment to the image and name of UFM.
UFM is not responsible for the use made of the content by users, nor does it sponsor, collaborate, or share the opinions that may be given by users or on the websites from which the contents made available to them are downloaded. Should any use of the contents be detected that could, in the opinion of UFM, damage its image or the reputation of its directors, teaching staff or collaborators, a simple email to the person responsible for the misuse of the contents shall be sufficient for them to cease using the content of the UFM website.
Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks or trade names of any kind appearing on the site are the property of UFM or, where applicable, of third parties who have authorized their use, and it may not be understood that the use or access to the services and/or the contents grants the User any right over the aforementioned trademarks and/or trade names, and it may not be understood that any of the exploitation rights that exist or may exist over the said contents have been transferred to the user.
The unauthorized use of information contained on this website, as well as any breach of the intellectual or industrial property rights of UFM or of third parties included on the website who have transferred content, shall incur the legally established liabilities.

What data do we process?
If you contact us, you will be asked for your name and last name, email address, location, telephone number, and the reason for your query.
If you fill in forms for enrolment in a degree or postgraduate program, you will be asked for identification and contact details relating to your academic training, knowledge level of languages, professional experience, bank details for the direct debit of payment for services provided by UFM.
If you request to receive the Journal of Economic Affairs you will be asked for your email address.
If you wish to receive information about activities and news that may be of interest to you, please fill in the form in the contact section of the website.
For what purpose do we process the data?
It is to enable us to respond to the query raised or information requested, take into account suggestions made by web users, and to communicate with them to inform them about new activities and news that may be of interest. Data is also kept for internal statistical and historical purposes..
If you fill out an admission application to one of our undergraduate or graduate programs, your data will be used to assess and evaluate the applications received, the management of your enrollment, if applicable, and for academic and administrative management during the course of your studies, as well as to keep you informed about other courses, acts, and events that we believe may be of interest to you.
Will data be shared?
To carry out the aforementioned processes, and due to the structure of our information system in Cloud applications, your data will be shared with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Activolution S.L., in charge of automating the acquisition of leads for this website, Google LLC, Oracle Eloqua, in charge of electronically automating the acquisition of leads, marketing, and delivery of correspondence, Oracle Sales, Salesforce Pardot, in charge of electronically automating the acquisition of leads, marketing, and delivery of correspondence of this website. They will also be shared with financial institutions for the collection of charges for services provided by UFM and with UFM Guatemala.
How long will we hold your data?
For as long as it is necessary to meet for the purpose for which it was collected, for compliance with UFM’s legal obligations, and as long as you do not object to it being held, as well as until the statute of limitations expires on any actions that may be brought against INPRO in relation to the services provided.
